An 18-year-old woman has died in hospital after catching the flu virus.
Bethany Walker, from Applecross in Wester Ross, had been experiencing the infection at home before it formed into pneumonia. 

She was transported to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where she kicked the bucket last Friday. 

Her mom Heather Teale paid tribute to her "delightful young lady", depicting her as "the best girl I could have ever longed for".
